School Prayer

Heavenly Father,
With grateful hearts, we come before You, rejoicing in the grace and gift of this moment as we begin a new chapter in the sacred mission of Catholic education that You have entrusted to us.
We ask that You bless the founding of this new school. May St. Joseph Academy stand as a shining beacon of Catholic truth and hope within our diocese and beyond.
We thank You for the generous hands and faithful hearts that have come together in love of You and in service to future generations.
May our school be a sanctuary of truth and charity, a refuge from the confusion of the world, and a citadel of light, reason, and holy discipline. May it be a place where the Catholic faith is fully lived, and where hearts are set afire with love of You!
Bless those who will teach in this place:
Grant them wisdom to guide, patience to nurture, charity in all their dealings, and unwavering fidelity to Your Word and the sacred teachings of Holy Mother Church.
Bless the students who will learn here:
Instill in them a deep thirst for holiness, a love for truth, and a joyful spirit of obedience, that they may grow ever more fully in the image and likeness of Christ.
Bless and strengthen the families who support this mission. Unite them in faith and love that their lives may mirror the harmony and holiness of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
In a special way, we entrust this mission to the care of Saint Joseph, guardian of the Holy Family, patron of Canada, and protector of the Church.
O faithful St. Joseph, watch over this school as you once watched over Jesus and Mary.
Defend it from all harm, guide it with fatherly care,
and obtain for all who belong to it the grace to walk in the way of Christ.
Lord, let the seeds planted and the work we begin today be carried forward in hope, and may it bear fruit that endures for Your eternal glory and for the salvation of souls!
We ask all this through Christ our Lord.
